• Kirsty was originally a friend of Rory Cotton in Clive Barker's 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart, not his daughter as in the 1987 film Hellraiser.
• In the Boom! Studios Hellraiser comic series, set roughly twenty years after the third film, Kirsty becomes a Cenobite herself, trading places with Pinhead who becomes human.
• In Hellraiser VI: Hellseeker, Kirsty is revealed to have killed three of her husband Trevor's mistresses and his friend, then framed Trevor for the murders before shooting him in the head.
